“I am not sure exactly what heaven will be like, but I know that when we die and it comes time for God to judge us, he will not ask, ‘How many good things have you done in your life?’ rather he will ask, ‘How much love did you put into what you did?’”
— Mother Teresa

“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside them they’ve all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.”
-Neil Gaiman

The world changes in direct proportion to the number of people willing to be honest about their lives.

another beginning’s end.

Today is the last day of my first year at college. Uncle Jason and my mom are on their way to pick me up while I’m packing all of my stuff in abercrombie &fitch paper bags because I don’t have any boxes :( I’m excited for summer! I know God has great plans for me this summer to challenge myself and hopefully I’ll be able to grow in my faith. I want to learn more about God and devote myself to him while I don’t have school and classes to worry about. Even though I know I’m supposed to make time for God during my studies, but I get too distracted with whatever I’m caught up with :( This summer is going to be different, coming home with a new perspective and new wisdom that God has given me which will definitely help me be a better/different person than I was a year ago.

Sometimes I wish my writing had more fluidity in it—you know like how writing is supposed to “flow”. Maybe this is why I’m not an english major. I struggle with putting my thoughts together and expressing how I feel in words. I just takes me a while to find the right word for anything. Ughh. Talk about self-criticism.

Well, today I went to the school of Pharmacy to get information about transferring into the pre-pharm program while keeping my current major. The school says that the program is only opened to incoming freshman at uop. This means that I’m going to have to get my BS degree before applying as a transfer. I wish I could talk to the right person who can hook me up under the table (why does this sound so bad).

Is pharmacy the path that God wants for me? For some reason Neurology is speaking to me, I don’t know how it came across my mind but I find interest in it. Maybe I could study/research certain treatments that can effectively be used to target the brain.
